Global Protect VPN

The SAS Grid system, as well as many other Data Science systems, are safeguarded with the campus firewall. Unlike previous systems, connections from off campus will require you to connect to the campus VPN before you can connect to any of the available resources. Faculty/Staff all have access to the KSU VPN. Students are given access to the VPN based upon course enrollment and need. If you are on campus (excluding campus housing), then you will not need to connect to the VPN.

Use any web browser to navigate to https://vpn.kennesaw.edu/ and log in with your KSU email address and password. Once logged in, you will be given a list of available clients that can be downloaded to your local system.

Instructions for installing the client and setting up the connection are available below.

• Linux - (Note that UITS does not officially support the Linux Global Protect VPN clients.)

(The Global Protect VPN client is also available on iOS and Android, but they are not supported by SAS.)
